05.27.17. Jim+Alyssa /// These two met while running a marathon in Vegas. A marathon. I've run *one* half marathon, and I was in NO condition to meet the love of my life. But they did. They started out running the race together - "meet me at the finish line," they said. I can't get that line out of my head after I heard during their ceremony. I hear a LOT of love stories - and this one is probably one of my favorites.Read More
In July, I had the honor of officiating some of our closest friends wedding in Maui. The last time I was in Hawaii I was getting married - so it felt right to be back there to marry friends of ours. Hawaii is such a magical place. I couldn't leave without getting a couples session in of my own (because helloooooooooo I can't pass up the opportunity to photograph a beautiful couple in paradise). Matt and Paige are friends of ours (Matt is the grooms brother of the wedding we were attending) and Paige has become a great friend of mine over the last year. They got married in Maui LAST year, so it was extremely special to photograph them together just shy of their one-year anniversary in the place they got married.
My husband and I location scouted ALL over the island and I found this place. I knew this was "it" as we were walking through and I couldn't wait to bring these two here. YAY! I love how these turned out and I am so thrilled to finally be sharing them.
Enjoy. Mahalo!Read More
8.5.17 // Andrew and Ashley Squires. I will for sure be blogging this wedding in it's entirety later, but I couldn't wait until I finish these to share some. SUCH a special day between two high school sweethearts. One of my favorite wedding's I've ever shot (maybe my absolute favorite to date) and I can't waiiiiit to share more. *hearteyes*Read More
Tim and Val's story began in middle school - the kind of on-again-off-again love where they always ended up coming back to each other. They were planning their big fairytale wedding for later this year when they found out they were pregnant. They moved their wedding up so they'd be married before the baby came, planned a wedding in less than 2 months, and it was the most special and intimate day I've ever been apart of. A wedding on the beach with their closest family and friends followed by a brewery party where they did their GENDER REVEAL. The most incredible day full of celebration for their marriage and their baby girl on the way. Tim and Val - I am so excited for you and your growing family!!!!! It was such an honor to photograph such a special day. STILL CRYING OVER THESE!

Cody+Jordan. 06.24.17 /// I will 100% be blogging this full wedding later but I am too excited not to share a few now. Washington experienced a little heat wave last weekend and it was HOT - a 98 degree day in Chehalis during this wedding. My most organized brides are always either teachers or photographers and this one happens to be BOTH, so naturally this wedding was perfect. It's always nerve-wracking shooting weddings for other photographers, but Jordan and Cody planned the dream wedding that couldn't be more fun to photograph. I swear their entire town was there celebrating them and it was such a party. This was a special one and I can't wait to share more.

Shane & Lindsay. A dreary Pacific Northwest spring day made a bit brighter by these two and their marriage. It stopped raining long enough to have the ceremony outside and the reception was the perfect cozy party with the sound of rain pounding on the roof. The perfect day.Read More

Allison and Taylor's wedding was perfect: an intimate gathering of their family who traveled from Washington and Arizona to see them get married in beautiful La Jolla on a warm, February San Diego afternoon. A cozy dinner at a beachside restaurant was their ideal wedding reception and gave family the perfect opportunity to catch up and spend time together. This was the most chill, fun and relaxing day and I was in photographer heaven.Read More
Thank you so much to The Ruin Venue for letting us use their gorgeous space for this surprise proposal! This was one of my favorite days ever and my favorite thing I've ever gotten to photograph. Months of planning went into this surprise and Aaron wins all the fiancé points in the world for planning such a wonderful day for Tiffany. Friends came out to the venue to meet us with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, there was a party with their closest family and friends waiting for them when we got back from Joshua Tree... this was truly one of the most special days I've ever been apart of. I am so overwhelmed with good feelings about these images, I don't even have words. So I'm not going to try. Aaron and Tiffany, I am so excited for your life together and so honored to have captured this special event for you!Read More
ErinAnn + Josh. Married 01.15.17. There's nothing quite like getting to photograph a friends wedding. ErinAnn has been an important part of my life since I was 20 and it was truly such an honor to capture this day. She planned such a beautiful, cozy, winter wedding and made it exactly what her and Josh wanted: an intimate gathering of their closest family and friends filled with delicious brunch and lots of speeches. She was such a beautiful bride and I am obsessed with her dress - not quite white, kind of grey/blue, and very elegant. I am so proud of my friend and adore the partner she chose to spend her life with.Read More
